Great Memories, and Photos of Our Romantic Holiday to Barbados

Saturday, January 7th, 2012

My husband (Mike) and I haven’t been on a romantic break in years and we decided that we would treat ourselves to one of these Barbados holidays for a week or maybe two. I was so excited that we were going to be taking time away from our busy schedules and kids to reconnect again. After our honeymoon (ages ago) quickly came our twins Maya and Gabriel, and that did quite quickly change our lives. It stopped us taking a romantic holiday but they are the best thing of our lives, so I can’t complain.

Bridgetown, Barbados

The kids are now older and well behaved (mother love eh?) and my mum came to the rescue and offer us to take care of them so we could fly to Barbados. Planning the holiday was a very simple process and the best part that it was so affordable. I couldn’t wait to get to the amazing Caribbean island and when we arrived it was all that and more than we had expected. Barbados is a truly impressive place, the whole Caribbean atmosphere is very relaxing and the scenery is awesome. But is not only that, Barbadian people are very “easy going” and truly friendly. Couple all that, with a luxury five star all inclusive resort and you got paradise in Earth.

Me the beach in Barbados

My dear Mike and I had a great time, we are closer than ever. We spent a great ten days in Barbados, one of the prettiest places on earth, enjoying each other. It almost felt like a fantasy being there. I hated when it ended and shortly after we got home we planned our next getaway. We didn’t realize how much we had been missing out on because we had been so buried in everything else that life had thrown at us. From our holidays we got lots of great pictures, videos and memories for sharing with our kids and family (especially Mum). Thanks Barbados, thanks a lot. We will comeback, maybe with the kids or the whole family.

Why Disney Vacation Club Reviews Need to Be Considered if Profits Are to Be Realized

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

There is no telling what disney vacation club reviews have achieved for the club since its inception. Before the introduction of these reviews, the club was constantly underperforming and trailing thus resulting to massive losses. It has been amazing to observe the major changes and strides which have been experienced by the club after the laying down of necessary procedural guidelines. The introduction of Disney Vacation Club reviews has also served in streamlining profits for the club by ensuring that every coin has been accounted for. This was not the case before the launching of the reviews. One of the attribute that is synonymous with profitable businesses is the fact they all utilize reviews in their daily operations. The use of Disney Vacation Club reviews has also helped in identifying the areas of the club which need elevation. It was quite difficult to identify such areas in the past due to the fact that no proper mechanisms had been put in place.

An Amsterdam Apartment Comes in Many Sizes

Friday, December 16th, 2011

It doesn’t matter how big your family is because an apartment Amsterdam comes in many sizes in order to accommodate your specific needs. If you have a small family of four people than you can probably get away with a two bedroom apartment quite easily and this will not cost you very much money. If you have a large family of around 10 people than you can fit in an apartment with four bedrooms or possibly even five and that type of apartment will generally have to or three bathrooms which will serve everybody well. You don’t want to spend hours getting ready in the morning because that time would be much better served roaming around the beautiful city and seeing all of the attractions it has to offer you and your excited family. It just makes total sense to get a holiday apartment that can accommodate your entire family as easily and comfortably as possible.

Experience an Extremely Peaceful Vacation at Cobblers Cove

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Cobblers Cove is known around the world as a charming small hotel that can be found on the North West Coast of Barbados. It only has 40 rooms which seem to be more like a home rather than a hotel. With the main house that is situated at the beach front, it offers an extremely wonderful friendly atmosphere because colonial style it has.

Since the beach is in a secluded area, the hotel is perfect for people who are looking for a place that can give them the calmness and privacy that they want. With the hotel’s personal service as their main priority, customers will truly feel the warmth and peace of the place. Cobblers Cove is the right place to be when you want to get away from the stress and just have some relaxation time alone without thinking anything else but to enjoy and have fun. For sure, this place will be one of your ultimate get away trips.

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

20 Tread 2 Section Euroglas Heavy Duty Insulated Extension Ladder 3.05 ...Something forbidden is very enticing isn’t it? The truth is that hostels in bocas del toro seem forbidden because they are not popular in America but in Europe Hostels can be some of the most traveled places to stay overnight. So if you are in the area of Bocas del Toro and you are traveling and need a place to stay consider a hostel because you will not be disappointed. Casa Verde is this really funky green house it looks almost like something from the Rasta community but it is so much fun. The people are really awesome and willing to help you find anything you need to make your trip a memory you will never forget. One thing that caught my eye was canopy tours. You are hanging in the air from a rope and pulley system, basically you feel like you are a monkey in the treetops. If you are a surfer then they have some of the best waves in all of the world.

Enjoy Bonding Time

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

More often than not, one of the things that we fail to notice is spending time for ourselves and spending time for our family. We work five days a week, 8 hours a day to keep up with the demands of our expenses. More and more people are even working overtime up to 16 hours a day just to pay for electricity, amortization, credit cards, tuition fees on top of our physiologic expenditures. Compared to before, families of today are inclined to spend lesser time together. As of today, families no longer spend dinners together; most parents could not even attend special occasions of their children such as parent -teacher meeting, recitals, championship games, school plays, graduation, and some other lists of extracurricular activities. Most of the families no longer go out as a family perhaps spending time together on a Kona Hawaii fishing trip and activities, or just having picnics.

Fun Times at a Horse Show

Saturday, November 5th, 2011

Finding hotels near scottsdale horse show, can be an excellent opportunity to learn about many different kinds of horses and the jobs they were bred to do. Some shows and events are open to all breeds while others are limited to a single breed or a small group of breeds. The big, bulky draft horses, like Clydesdales and Belgians, were bred for farm work and other jobs that involved pulling a heavy load. You can see such horses competing in the draft horse classes at a horse show, pulling carts either singly or in teams. Stock horses are horses that work with livestock. While the term isn’t limited to any particular breeds, they are usually light, strong horses such as the Quarter Horse and Appaloosa. Lighter build horses may excel at dressage or carriage pulling. Ponies, usually defined as short, stocky horses under a certain height, can also be seen in competition at some horse shows. Whatever kind of horse you’re interested in, horse shows are a fun way to observe these fascinating animals.

Experiencing the Magic of Summer in Cap D’Agde

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

It is often thought that one of the wonderful reasons to visit France in the middle of the summer is that you are likely to be witness to a terrific display of fireworks. This is actually a French tradition, and it is meant to celebrate the national holiday, Bastille Day, which takes place on July 14th. However, if you are a fireworks enthusiast and you are unable to take your vacation at that time, problems can arise.

The good news is that Bastille Day is observed over the course of a seven day stretch in mid July at the Cap d’Agde resort on the coast in France’s southern region so no excuse not to book your flights to Cap d’Agde now! The celebration includes five spectacular fireworks displays taking place over five evenings at different locations within the resort. If that is not enough, additional breathtaking fireworks displays are held on nearly every weekend, all the way through the month of August. One of these displays symbolically burns up Fort Brescou, a historic outpost located off the coast.

Moreover, Agde, as a city, observes the months of summertime with outstanding light and sound presentations that take place on the shores of the Herault River. These displays contain a narrative told through brilliant colors, images, and sounds. Throughout July and August, there are about six presentations of this display.

Additionally, Cap d’Agde works strenuously to maintain local festivals and traditions. One of these traditions involves jousting boats on the river. At these jousts, you can watch competing knights go at each other. These events often also include other forms of live entertainment.

Citizens and visitors also take time to honor St. Pierre, who is the patron saint of fishermen. More somber observances are held to reflect upon those lives lost at sea. Local residents attend these festivals in great numbers, so attending is a wonderful way to experience life in France as it is experienced by its citizens. Its good to know that there is always a celebration when you come to visit Cap d’Agde. For a Cap d’Agde rental for you and your family visit the tourist board website.

I Plan on Getting an Accommodation Rotterdam This Year

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

When you live in a bustling city like I do, you look forward to vacation every day it comes closer. I plan on getting an accommodation Rotterdam this year, and I will be getting it for a week instead of a weekend. Sometimes you want to settle down and get out of the big city. Sometimes you need to breathe a huge sigh of relief when all of your responsibilities are left behind. This is exactly what I look forward to at least. My biggest problem is switching my brain over from work to pleasure. I seem to always be on work mode and I need to learn how to relax or I will be sorry for it later. My father used to be the same way and eventually he let his job get the better of him and take control where it should not have.

I’m hoping that my Rotterdam accommodation will go a long way toward reminding me that getting burned out is not a good way to live my life. I don’t want to live that way anymore so I need to start changing things now.

I’ve heard only great things about Rotterdam so I’m really looking forward to this trip. When I first get there I’m going to unpack and then look around the neighborhood for a great place to have lunch. Usually I just grab some left overs out of the fridge and eat it while I’m working, so now I want to pamper myself a bit and have someone else make me a nice special lunch. I imagine myself sitting at a little outside table at some cool little bistro watching the people walking by as the waiter brings me my food. I think I’ll sit there for a good long time and just eat in a very relaxed way.

Daydreaming While Looking for Coach Hire

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

I thought it was just another day of checking out the cheapest coach hire holiday I can afford. But I was wrong. One link led to another and soon I was daydreaming in the middle of heaps and heaps of website window tabs and papers on my desk. I am just ensconced into a world where fantasies come true and there are bureaucratic gravities that hold an artist’s dreams down. It was a place where nobody wanted to die, where things are not so futile as to kill one’s dreams and discourage one to oblivion. It was that one place where pigs can fly and ostriches can hold their head up high without fear of being (pardon the pun!) ostracized. It was the place where people are not judged but are loved. There I found that things are used and not loved, as they should be in real life. It is the place called imagination. And then soon I snapped back to reality to continue my search.

My Best Vacation Ideas Ever

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

Throughout the years, I have had many vacation ideas and the ones that stand out most in my mind are the little ones that we took, not the grand vacations to the theme parks that cost us a small fortune. One of my best ideas was to travel through the smaller highways down state and just enjoy the scenery as well as different places to eat and stay. The kids still talk about that one. Another was to go to South Dakota where we visited the house of Laura Ingalls Wilder of Little House on the Prairie fame as well as saw Mount Rushmore and Bear Country. Other vacation ideas that everyone liked included going to the Jersey shore and enjoying the boardwalk. One of the best ideas was going to Nashville and seeing the wax museum as well as the Hermitage, which was the home of Andrew Jackson. My kids have enjoyed all of my vacation ideas throughout the years, including those that did not end up costing us a lot of money.

Where is Pedreguer?

Saturday, July 30th, 2011

Pedreguer is located just off the motorway the AP7 and the national road the N332 on the Northern Costa Blanca in Spain. Pedreguer is a small market town and also the gateway to the villages and orange groves of the Orba Valley. Pedreguer has two airports in its vicinity of almost the same travelling distance. There is Valencia Airport in the north which is about an hour and twenty minutes by car and Alicante Airport in the south which is also about eighty minutes away by car.

Pedreguer is located inland from the sea side resorts of Javea and Denia and some of its urbanisations located on the hillside offer stupendous views over towards the Mediterranean Sea, the Montgo, Denia and Javea. Many expats have made Pedreguer their new homes and they can be found living in the Old Town itself as well as on the urbanisations of Monte Pedreguer, Monte Solana and Gata Residencial. Some of these urbanisations have villas with swimming pools on large plots of land while many are link villas with small pools which much resemble the Spanish version of a typical English housing estate in the sun.

The Big Five Are Here

Thursday, May 19th, 2011

The big five! A magical sentence that draws people from all over the world to Africa. During the course of a Namibia safari that specific sentence can come true. Namibia is blessed with abundance in wildlife. Focusing on the topic of the big five, Namibia is unparalleled. The African Elephant being the biggest of the lot. The king of the jungle, the Lion is the member of the big five that most people dearly want to see. The Leopard is one of the species that is the most difficult to find and see, but if found, what a privilege to see! The Buffalo is most probably the most dangerous of this group of animals, while the Rhino is by far the animal with the shortest and meanest temper. To be able to see all these animals in the wild is a dream come true for most people. To make this dream a reality, come on a Namibia safari.

A Beautiful Time in Australia

Saturday, May 7th, 2011

On my lookout for Melbourne hotels, I spotted a quaint little stop along the outskirts of the city. I will travel to Melbourne always, because I love Australia. It’s got such a good vibe, and the energy is transferred to me when I go down there. I’m a songwriter, and I’ve never felt as inspired as I was spending time down in Australia. I can recall writing one of my favorite songs ever sitting on the balcony of one of my Melbourne hotel stops, staring off at the beautiful horizon. The sunset was glorious that night, and I had an amazing view of it. And I sat and just thought about my life as words flew through my pen and my guitar had a voice of its own. I will always cherish my time there, and I’m actually planning on bringing my family there as soon as they can make some time in their schedules.

On Camping with Relatives for the Holidays

Monday, April 11th, 2011

Last Thanksgiving, as usual we went camping at Dad’s cabin. Since buying one of those festival kits for myself, I’ve gone on several camping trips. This time, I was living in “luxury” though – in a log cabin. It was a bit exciting, to say the very least. You see, there is a bear around those parts and every once in a while he comes to visit. In the past, he has always come during the night and gone through our trash; so we’ve never had a personal encounter with him, until now. My baby and I were in the cabin, my Dad was on the porch and my husband was in the outhouse because other than having a well, there is no running water; or electric for that matter. All of a sudden, we heard a loud roar and my husband hollering, “Bear, bear”! I put the baby in her play yard and went out onto the porch with Dad. I asked what was happening and saw the bear cub scampering away in fright. I believe that my husband scared it more than anything, but as anyone would be, he was still shaken up over it. After all, it’s not every day that you come out of an outhouse and see a bear.

Budapest: City of Beautiful Sights, Historic Spas and Great Food

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011

It is a fact that locals really like to enjoy meals. Foods such as goulash and fish soup are noted worldwide. The most frequently chosen essence is paprika and foods are frequently eaten with sour cream. Often desserts like somloi or pancake finish the menu. Health spas are often highlighted attractions of Budapest. It was previously unveiled and preferred by the Turkish, who controlled the location hundreds of years ago. Many of the baths feature partially Ottoman architecture. Lately the many health spas utilize the medical water for healing and vacation programs. Visitors staying a couple of days in a hotel or an apartment Budapest, might also visit the tiny towns around the Danube Bend. The small towns of Szentendre and Visegrad are gorgeous little places with centuries of history. With a regular city tour or by yourself, they can be visited in a couple of hours. The city has something to offer for young families with kids, as well. It is usually an amazing pleasure to ride on the funicular, to see the popular zoo and the leisure park. The vehicle museum is a favorite of boys and girls, just like travelling on the pioneer’s train or cruising with the amphibious Riverride bus.
